When it comes to finding a signature scent, you can’t go wrong asking the people who smell hundreds of new releases every year. For this video, I (Adam Hurly … GQ, Men’s Journal, Forbes Vetted, Robb Report), invited four of my favorite fellow grooming editors to share the best men’s colognes they actually wear and endorse most often.

Each picked two scents: one mass-market cologne from a major brand and one niche or indie release they personally swear by. Together, we cover everything from modern designer staples to under-the-radar icons.

Joining me are Garrett Munce (Esquire, Men’s Health), Justin Fenner (Robb Report), Sarah Y. Wu (Glamour, Allure, Bustle, Marie Claire), and Brennan Kilbane (Air Mail, Business of Fashion). Each of them brings a unique point of view—some classic, some unconventional—but all informed by years of experience writing about what makes a fragrance great.
