Harry’s has rolled out its biggest handle update yet with the Harry’s PLUS Razor, a sturdier, smoother, and more flexible upgrade to its best-selling Original model. Here is my quick review video:

The PLUS handle keeps the brand’s signature minimalist design but introduces a few smart refinements that make it feel more premium in use. The more flexible head glides more comfortably over the jaw and neck, while the pronounced precision blade makes edging under the nose or beard line far easier. A snap-button cartridge release replaces the old slide mechanism for faster, cleaner swaps, and the overall balance feels more secure in the hand.
The payoff is a closer shave that still feels gentle on the skin. This is a key reason Harry’s has stayed popular among both daily and occasional shavers. These updates bring the performance closer to what you’d expect from pricier razors without losing the simplicity or affordability on which Harry’s built its entire brand.
For this long-gestating rollout, Harry’s overhauled its century-old German factory, retooling machinery, retraining teams, and tightening quality assurance to handle new pivot mechanics and blade geometry. Harry’s co-founder and co-CEO Jeff Raider told me that the upgrade was a decade in the making, yielding finer tolerances, stronger coatings, and more consistent edge performance, turning a simple redesign into a full production-line evolution.
Overall, the PLUS feels like a thoughtful evolution rather than a redesign, perfect for anyone who liked the Original Razor but wanted a little more polish and control. The difference might seem nominal on paper, but it feels incredibly smooth on skin. Who knew that the best selling blade could get even better yet?
