The long-lasting assurance you want from a mouth rinse.
This is one of my all-time favorite least-sexy grooming products. Because bad breath is quite literally unappealing, yes, but also because SmartMouth isn’t trying to be something it’s not. You aren’t getting upsold 1000% on something here (I see so many brands that try to convince me that mouth wash should be $30+ simply because of the bottle or the branding… no thanks.) Rather, this mouth rinse is pragmatic, and unsexy for that. Which makes it, by that math… a really smart purchase. And smart is sexy.
I digress. In addition to being a terrific mouth wash, I also love the tech that goes into this product; SmartMouth found a way to actually innovate an otherwise staid product category. SmartMouth’s Original Activated formula uses a patented zinc technology (which they call SmartZinc), that activates on mixing. Each bottle has two bellies, and you pour them out so that their respective fluids combine for the finished, activated formula. A gargle instantly kills sulfur-producing bacteria while preventing new odors from forming for 24 hours.

And look, the 24 hours thing is their claim. I brush my twice 2-3 times daily. I gargle after coffee, I keep hyper aware of my breath. So I refuse to go a full 24 hours without oral care. BUT, I do feel an added layer of assurance with SmartMouth, and my best evidence to their claims is that my morning breath is never as reeky or rank after I use this stuff the night before. So, if you’re waking up next to somebody in the a.m. and want to smother them with smooches… SmartMouth is a great “last thing to do before bed”.
