Atwater calls this a face scrub, but that name barely scratches the surface (pun intended). This slime-green cleanser hits a rare mark: it actually purifies pores without stripping moisture. It foams lightly, scrubs gently, and somehow leaves your face calm instead of raw. It’s a hybrid cleanser–exfoliator that can replace both steps in most routines. And did I mention it’s slime green? That, my friends, is fun for me. One of those products I look forward to using.
The polish comes from biodegradable jojoba beads, which buff away dead skin without tearing at the surface. A mild dose of salicylic acid cuts through excess oil and congestion, keeping blackheads at bay. Then a chlorophyllin copper complex calms inflammation and redness (which is something most competing scrubs trigger, rather than solve). Supporting cushioning agents like betaine keep moisture balanced so the skin barrier stays intact.

How to Use It
Massage a small amount onto damp skin (a penny-sized amount), working it over the T-zone and beard area. Let the salicylic acid sit for a brief 30 seconds to loosen buildup. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry. With most exfoliant, the directive is once every 2-3 days in terms of use. This one, in my opinion, remains gentle enough for daily use. Still, you can space out uses if you want to enjoy those slime-green rinses longer.
