Why It Stands Out
I’ll let my half-emptied bottle speak for itself. Here I am with hundreds of fragrances in my home, and Misfit has managed to be used half up despite being spoiled for choice. It’s a fantastic signature scent for any guy—in fact, I included it in my 10 Best Signature Scents lineup for its sophisticated and sexy simmer (albeit entirely professional in its sex appeal); it wears wonderfully on women, too, though I would say it leans masculine, if you want such a prescription.
And yet, despite feeling so obvious as a go-to daily scent, this one remains niche; you could wear it and not worry about a colleague or fellow commuter casting the same delicious radius. Misfit one has won the most sought-after wards in perfumery, is the work of one of the industry’s most sought-after master perfumers (Rodrigo Flores-Roux) and the vision of the most sought-after creative (Carlos Huber). It’s the scent that gets compliments, that prompts the classic “what is that you’re wearing!?” and which punctuates any positive memories made (in other words, your peers won’t soon forget this scent; they’ll know it as you, and happily so).
