Why It Stands Out
Strength and customization—that’s what you want in a beard trimmer. This one is much more than a beard trimmer, too, but for the sake of this review, that’s how I cast it.
This multitasking device is strong, in every sense of the word. For one, it lasted me 17 hours of consecutive runtime on its first charge. How is that even possible? We’ve owned my current tool for a year and haven’t had to charge it since that first re-up; the only reason I replaced my old Multigroom is because the new one launched with a few additional attachments. (That old one. I charged maybe twice or three times over 3-4 years of consistent use.)
The steel-bodied Multigroom/All-in-One is true to its name and is powerful enough to use as a hair clipper; although I think of it primarily as a beard trimmer, I had a barber test various products for me for a Forbes hair clipper review. And she stood by this hybrid device as one of her preferred consumer-facing hair clippers—even over many designated hair clippers. So that added fuel to my fire, since it was already my all-time favorite grooming device.
As for its core function (a beard trimmer), I love the range of customization this tool offers, particularly with its precision trimmer and shaver attachments that help carve out any facial hair style. The different attachment combs allow for a great range of clipping lengths, too (1-7mm on the beard trimmer, with 0.2-mm increments between 1-3mm, and then single-mm increments up to 7). I also love attaching the T-blade guard to draw clean lines across my mustache, beard neckline, and sideburns.

How to Make the Most of It
Swap in those precision attachments (the shaver and the trimmer) to spot check the perimeter of your scruff. I love using both to try on different facial hair styles.
Don’t forget to rinse out the head and let it fully dry in a cool space before storing it away. And keep it out of humidity and in a cool, dry place at all times.
